New and improved for 2024, our Turtle Small Needle Felt Kit makes two cute baby sea turtles. A fun and easy project that's perfect for beginners and a must for all aquatic and marine nature lovers!
Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).
Skill Level: Felty Fledgling (Easy Beginner)
Size in cm: approx. 10cm
Techniques used: 3D shaping, surface colouring, wire armature.
This kit contains:
- Full colour, step-by-step instructions.
- 5 different types of wool.
- Extra Strong Pipe Cleaner
- Felting needles (#38 medium, #40 fine)
- Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
You will also need: Wire cutters or scissors.
Designed and packaged in the UK using ethically sourced and eco-friendly materials. Please reuse, recycle, and/or compost packaging & tools.

I purchased this box as a one off as I watched Steffi on a Facebook live unboxing event and fell in love with Donkey and just had to buy him. The items in the box included felting mat, tools and lots of exciting colours of wool, I think it's fantastic, I just can't wait to start making him
This kit will be wonderful to create with all of the bright colors and no fixed pattern. Because I bought 2 of them I will be doing a "stabbing" party with a friend as we make them together.
Haven't used it yet, but it feels soft, and I like how it's biodegradable as well. Can't wait to try it.

So pleased I've managed to find these, really useful and saves stabbing of fingers whilst edging felts.

Looking at the kit I am very impressed with the quality. I am not going to be making it yet so can't comment on how it goes together, but looking forward to starting it later in the year.

Easy to follow but detailed instructions, made very cute turtles! I usually end up with excess wool from kits but used all for this project. Love turtles and will be resusing instructions to make other coloured ones. Enjoyed learning new techniques to make the shell and colouring with dusting wool. Nothing to fault :)
I usually like to make things big.
But these little Baby Turtles are so cute.
Easy to make up.And I have decided to go big and make mum & dad.
