Angelina Fibre
Sparkly, iridescent heat-bondable synthetic fibres (7g)
Add a little magic to your makes with Angelina Fibre! The loose fibres can be mixed with a little wool to help it felt into wet felted or needle felted items. Alternatively, as it is heat-bondable, it can be ironed into a film-like sheet which can be cut into shapes - perfect for dragonflies, fairy wings, flowers... whatever you can imagine - scroll down for more info and also our website for a FREE tutorial!
The iridescence of this product really gives it its magic and you will find the colours shift with the light! We currently stock the following colourways:
-
Moonstone White - White fibres with pink/blue and peach/green iridescence (it varies with the light!)
- Silver - Silver shiny fibres with hints of frosty blue
- Gold Sparks - Shiny golden fibres with blue/purple iridescence
- Emerald Green - Warm Green fibres with blue/green/purple iridescence
- Seafoam Green - Aqua green fibres with peach/green/blue iridescence
- Mermaid Blue - Sky blue fibres with pink/blue and peach/green iridescence (it varies with the light!)
- Deep Sea Rainbow - Blue-grey fibres with peach/green/blue/purple iridescence
- Fuchsia Pink - Bright hot-pink fibres with blue/green/purple iridescence
- Purple Pink - Purplish-pink fibres with green/blue/purple iridescence
NB: although every effort has been made to represent the colours shown as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match as all images can vary when viewed on different screens and devices.
To create a film-like sheet with Angelina Fibre:
You will need: an iron and parchment/greaseproof paper (2 sheets) - TAKE CARE WHEN USING AN IRON!
Polyester based Angelina will adhere only to itself and not to other fibres, tissue paper or fabrics.
While you are heating up your iron (low heat setting), lay the fibres out onto a sheet of paper. A few fibres will create a thin and lacy film, more will make the finished sheet thicker and more dense. Experiment first and if in doubt use fewer fibres.
Then put the second sheet of paper over the laid out fibres and iron over the top for 20-30 seconds. When you take the paper off you will be able to lift the Angelina Film off straight away. Now you can cut this into shape if required or add more fibres for a denser finish and repeat the ironing process.

The owl is well made only small and hasn’t got a wide girth so, not the best for making big deep holes. It is sharp so that’s good. Remember this is for travel purposes so it certainly is useful and a lot better than making holes with your needles and useful for all the other naughty things we use Owl’s for. Picture with hand to give you a size reference.
Beautifully soft fibre, so easy so use for making my little mice!
Fastdelivery
Emailed to change delivery address. Was dealt with efficiently and package arrived at correct address quickly. The order is for a gift so i can't comment on product but based on information and ordering at the craft fayre and the service with delivery i would buy from this company again.
Every time I place an order I know it will be dealt with by professional, caring staff.
My orders have arrived quickly and the products are of high quality.
Thank you for being so efficient.
I received my box of wool yesterday. I’m so pleased with it and can’t wait to start using it.
Thank you xx
A box of feather-weight gorgeousness. Love the colours, just as shown on the website. The Blue Leicester locks are stunning.
Lovely item, promptly delivered.
Brilliant value. Love the texture
Bought these legs for my Needle felted chicks
Covered them with beige florist tape
They look great
I absolutely loved making this octopus kit. I had been looking for a while for an octopus kit but couldn't seem to find any - I then came across this one and couldn't resist! I had showed my dad needle felted octopus designs before (just by looking on the internet) but this was the one that he instantly thought looked great and I have absolutely no regrets.
I have never felt (touched) such luxurious wool - it is honestly so soft and lovely to use. I have tried quite a few kits now from other well-known brands though I am still learning but the wool has never felt this good - I realise now what a difference it can make. I didn't even realise that core wool could feel that soft - I want to get more (update: I have since bought the Lanolin Rich Core Wool from The Makerss because it is hard to go back to other types of core wool now lol - you should definitely try it! The Fox Red Variegated NZ Merino that comes with the kit is lovely too - I am now converted to carded wool now too as I don't think I'd tried it before [if I have, it certainly hasn't been anywhere near as nice as this] and from now on, it will be the main type I use, along with the Lanolin core). Honourable mention to the Luxury Red Pipe Cleaners which I used for the first time too - so fluffy!
Plus, in the YouTube video, Steffi recommends using a 38 twisted needle and that is soooo good for this project as it felts so nicely with the wool. Before now, I have mainly just stuck to triangle needles as I couldn't really tell much difference? But, let me tell you, the 38 twisted is a new fave now as it worked so nicely with this wool. Certain wools make certain needles shine (and vice versa) - that's one of the things I have learnt. Pure ASMR. I loved having the YouTube tutorial to go along with it because I am very much a visual learner and sometimes I can get a bit confused when just reading instructions (of needle felt kits in general)... it was my first proper make-a-long and it was so much fun! I didn't end up using the bit of dragon mix that was provided because I liked the octopus as it was (looking red all the way around) but I am excited to use it for something else.
Customer service has been super lovely too - I had actually contacted them about advice for a different project but they've been very supportive about the octopus too (I didn't ask for any advice regarding the octopus but I mentioned that I was completing it and they were rooting me on).
As an extra thing, I also got a piece of chocolate with the kit which was a nice surprise. I think I may have used a bit too much red at the beginning so I had to stretch that out a bit and the most difficult part for me was the webbing but I am so happy with how this octopus turned out. The effort was so worth it and I learnt a lot - this is my first completed project using armature too! It was a gift for my dad's birthday but I got the gift of making it, which was just as worthwhile.
P.S. My mum and little sister loved that the suckers were there when the octopus was turned over - they weren't expecting it and they thought it added so much :)
Great quality and very good price.
Very enjoyable. Good instructions very helpful to have the video too. Good quality fibre.
Thank you for sending me the wool. I use it for doll's hair. It is lovely, but although you quoted weight, because I still only understand pounds and ounces the amount was less than I thought it would be.
Fun to work with
These are GORGEOUS when ironed into a sheet (that’s all I have used them for so far to make wings for my dragon). They are so sparkly and beautiful. The sheet is a lot stronger than I was expecting too. Amazing stuff! I want to use Angelina Fibre in everything now ❤️
Some of the Angelina Fibres came with my fairy subscription box and I was a bit nervous about ironing them. I watched Steffi on the video tutorial and give it a go. It was so easy and not at all scary. It took only seconds and it was simple to tell when it was ready. Give it a try!
Love these fibres. They are great to add to: wet or dry felting; embroidery; embossing; fusing. You could add the to all kinds of crafts with a little imagination and aspiration of sparkle!
Very bright added a sparkle on my needle felted flowers. Nice selection of colours.
