New Improved Recipe-
We are currently offering 4 colours in both, Soft Woolly Wax and Firm Woolly Wax.
Woolly Wax Round Shape - Soft - this is a soft version for smoothing down wool fibres and preparing wire for wool wraps.
Woolly Wax Star Shape- Firm - this is the hardest version for smoothing down wool fibres and preparing wire for wool wraps. The wax can be used on its own for beaks, claws etc.
This is our own recipe, made in house and only available from us! It is made from beeswax, a blend of other European waxes/oils as well as lanolin and resin.
*Please note: there are no nut containing ingredients in the Woolly Wax, however the wax is produced in an area where nuts are used.*
No need to melt this wax. Simply scrape off what you need with a teaspoon or the back of your nail. It softens in your hands to become pliable and slightly sticky. This creates a firm to the touch, slightly tacky finish, which can be re-shaped through just the heat in your hands.
NB: This wax has a low melting point so keep away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Store at room temperature.

from 1085 reviewsNice product at a reasonable price. I use it to make small doll socks, too.
It's for a friends birthday present who writes children's books, and her badger character is called binkie. So hopefully Julie will get great pleasure in making him.
I've been wanting to felt a kingfisher for ages and just couldn't resist this kit when it became available. I wasn't disappointed. The kit is perfect, the instructions were very clear and are suitable for everyone including beginers. The finished item may not turn out exactly like the kit picture but that's the joy of felting.
Great kit.
All the products I have purchased were very well made the instructions were very clear and Steffi and her team are very helpfull.
Much nicer to work on than a foam one I have been using. I haven't tried the Eco Mat yet.
Beautiful wool to felt with . I cant buy this in Australia so it's a real treat for me.
These are great little pins and save me a lot of time and effort.
I always buy the eyes for my little felted creations here- good quality.
Made creating an image of a 'bauble' so much easier - follows curved surface so keeping size and perspective
This looks interesting- a nice change from animals and fairies which I normally make. Thinking of giving the completed item to my daughter- at least she can’t kill this one 😁
Lovely kit, everything I need, can’t wait to have a stab!
Seller communication was spot on too, thank you.
I have just received my robin picture kit and can’t wait to get started. The quality and detail is amazing as usual. I will now be saving to get the owl and kingfisher in this series.
Didn’t realise I needed it till I tried! Great product, will be buying again…
Another wonderful box. Can’t wait till the April gathering to see what we can make with the curls.
Didn’t realise I needed it till I tried! Great product, will be buying again…
Love it! Perfect for preparing wire ready for wrapping. With just enough grip so it's not overly sticky.
I used the soft version of this wax to make tiny feet and paws. It’s brilliant! So easy to blend into the wool with your fingers, a little goes a long way and I love the heart shape for pulling the wire through.
It’s much easier to soften than the original beeswax. 100% a keeper for me!
This wax is the fantastic for making claws. It may feel a bit tricky to handle at first, but once you get the technique right, it works a treat and makes very realistic claws and beaks. Smells lovely too!
The very small hearts are cumbersome to handle. But that isn't the reason I didn't care for it. It simply didn't have enough stick to it to help fiber adhere to wire. I have used a tacky substance from a USA seller and it worked much better. I was out of that so thought I would try this. Not impressed.
