Gnome or Tomte Needle Felt Kit makes 2 naughty gnomes dressed perfectly for Spring & Summer mischief!
Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).
Skill Level: Easy Beginner
Size in cm: approx. 15-20 cm (including hat)
Techniques used: 3d shaping, pipe cleaner wrapping, 2d flat felting and attaching surface colour.
This kit contains:
- Full colour, step-by-step instructions.
- 5 different types of wool.
- Cream curls
- Extra strong pipe cleaners
- 3 Felting needles (#36 coarse, #38 medium)
- Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
You will also need: wire cutters and scissors
Designed and packaged in the UK using ethically sourced and eco-friendly materials. Please reuse, recycle, and/or compost packaging & tools.

As I live in Spain someone kindly brought this over yesterday for me as it was delivered to my daughter's.
The packaging and colours of the felts and packets are so bright and vibrant and can't wait to start them this afternoon!!!

I have bought earth mats in the past, using them in my felting workshops and they last for a long time, making them really good value for money.

A good sized sharp pair scissors for cutting material and embroidery thread. The rainbow colours of the handle are great so they don’t get misplaced.

This is the third year of buying the advent calendar and each year gets better and better. My young daughter had developed a passion for needle felting so wonder how much will disappear. Might have to buy two next year.

I recieved this kit in 2 days after ordering, comes in a lovely box, with a Surprise chocolate treat for yourself. The kit is so beautiful, the wool is amazing. Everything you need and very easy to follow instructions. I really loved making my Gnomes, I spent a couple of evenings making my first one, it is such a joy and pleasure to see how they develop and progress in the making of the gnome, following the instructions are very easy and clear, there are photos showing you the progress step by step. My 2nd gnome, I completed yesterday later afternoon and evening. Such a pleasurable way of spending time, using this lovely Makerss kit, on a awful grey, blustery windy, dark rainy afternoon/evening.

bought this kit as a treat for myself at Christmas along with the Christmas Tomte. I had seen them lurking in the background during Steffie's broadcasts and knew I wanted to do one. I decided to make one large gnome from the kit. Loved the wool it was so nice to felt with and was stupidly pleased with how he turned out. He now sits permanently in my lounge watching TV with me
I am reasonably new to needle felting so was a little apprehensive when I bought myself the Tomte kit. One Sunday afternoon I took the plunge and in no time at all I had made my two little men.
I am in love with them. They are so full of character and sit in pride of place in my bedroom.
The instructions are very easy to follow with photographs and well written directions. They simply "walk" you through each step.
When I showed a friend my creations, she also decided to buy herself a kit.

I'm so pleased that I treated myself to this kit. As I'm new to 3D felting I thought this would be an ideal starting point - now I'm totally hooked on creating 3D felt figures!
This kit is great. Take your time to read through the instructions and put the felt into order of use. Check out the Makerss YouTube tutorials as they're really useful.
I'm now making more Gnomes/Tomte/Santas as Christmas presents, as everyone who has seen my creations has fallen in love with them.
