For best results, place a second sheet of heat-dissolving paper on top before adding more wool. If needed, add extra wisps of wool or a wire (ideal for feathers or large petals). Lift the shape off the felting mat and felt thoroughly from both sides. Trim away the excess paper around the shape. Sandwich it between two sheets of greaseproof paper and press with a hot iron for a few seconds.
