Join expert needle felter Steffi Stern in this inspiring and relaxing workshop where you'll create a stunning 2D wool landscape filled with drama and colour – featuring a stormy sky, rolling hills, vibrant wildflower meadows, a tree swaying in the wind, and a scattering of sheep. The finished size will be 30x40cm (A3)
Throughout the session, you’ll learn and explore a range of needle felting techniques, including:
🌀 How to blend and layer wool fibres to create depth and movement in skies and clouds
🌿 Shaping landscapes with colour transitions for hills and meadows
🌼 Adding detail and texture to flowers and grass using surface techniques
🌳 Creating perspective and motion in trees with directional felting
🐑 Sculpting small 2D animal forms to bring your scene to life
Steffi will guide you step-by-step, sharing her tips and tricks developed over 22 years of felting and teaching across the UK.
