Another reorder, need I say more
I was looking for wire to make more realistic feathers, using the technique of twisting short lengths of combed merino within a halved length of wire. The 22 was too thick but it will be useful for good support of small items. The 32 was really flimsy but did offer some support, as it's doubled up and twisted, for the small feathers I'm making. I can't see it having many other uses, if you want to pose. The 26 is more versatile on small projects and great for larger feathers made this way (using hair straighteners or iron)
Great product for making wire armatures and limbs for your felting projects. The wool grips and wraps easily around the wire. Highly recommended. Great service from The Makerss, thank you!
This is my go to wire when making something that needs a little more than just the wool for stability. Easy to use and the wool sticks to it really well.
For tiny toes, fingers, beaks, etc. The paper may peel off if worked too much, so am going to run over with a bit of PVA glue before using next time.
