October’s Theme: Make Your Own Felting Mat
Have you ever wondered if you could put your felting skills to the test and make your very own felting mat? This month we’re giving you the ultimate satisfaction of creating not just projects, but even one of the tools you’ll use again and again.
Inside your Flock Box you’ll find our beautiful Dragon wool – a rich autumnal blend of oranges and yellows that felts down easily into a strong, firm base. The colour is perfect too, as felting mats naturally take on a cheerful, colourful look from all the fibres that end up in them.
To guide you through, you’ll be using a Makerss Edging Tool – and we’ve popped one into your box as a treat and “try me” product for you to test: a brand-new extra-large 10 cm diameter tool.
