Capybara Instructions PDF

This project was first featured as our Makerss Box in May 2025 and is of the popular and largest rodent Capybara or Water Hog. 

The download will be automatically emailed to you a few moments after purchasing and includes step-by-step colour instructions with templates. 

Your finish capybara will measure 14-16cm in height. 

Techniques: 

Wool for basic sculpting, attaching shape, adding wire for stability, adding surface colours and texture, mixing wools, wire for making feet 

Tools: Felting needles #38 medium #40 fine, felting mat, wire cutters, glue, extra long needle, awl

You will also need: Black or dark brown felt tip pen (such as a Sharpie or similar) 

Suitable for Crafty Explorer age 10+ and seasoned needle felters.
