Mr Growl Workshop Large Jointed Bear with growl - evenings on 20th & 22nd July

🐻 After Hetty the Sheep was such a success, we’re inviting you to create our Large Jointed Bear — now with an even bigger growl box!

This characterful bear is fully jointed and made entirely from wool. To give you plenty of time, we’re spreading the workshop over two evenings, with a little optional homework in between. 

During the workshop you’ll learn how to:
✨ Needle felt firm basic shapes using fast-felting wool batts
✨ Create and shape a fully jointed wool bear
✨ Use silk clay to make the bear’s nose
✨ Enjoy crafting together in good online company

✨Best of all, you can put your own spin on your large bear and make him completely unique and full of personality. Every bear will have its own charm and become truly loveable. Please note that, sadly, he is intended as a decorative piece only and is not suitable as a toy. 🐻 

We’ll spend 3 hours together each evening, starting at 6pm. Alongside all the materials needed to make your growling bear, expect a few extra treats — The Makerss style 🎁

The tutorial part of the workshop will be recorded and made available afterwards to everyone signed up, so you can revisit the process at your own pace.

Inside your box you'll find:

• All the needle felting materials to make your own bear character including extra strong thread and a long needle to join the bear together. 
• A Tilt Growl Box, made from natural materials in true Makerss ethos
  
• A sweet treat to enjoy as you make
• A little extra surprise decoration 🎁
• Full step-by-step written instructions
• A QR code to the Zoom Workshops (this will also be emailed to you prior to the event)

You will also need:

• coarse #36 and medium #38 felting needle
• felting mat
• clear drying glue
• scissors 
• recommended: 3-needle felted tool to speed up the process of firm felting. 

The tutorial will be recorded and emailed to every attendee after the event, so you can revisit every step at your own pace and relive the magic whenever you like.
