Below are recommendations from Agnese herself on what you will need for this masterclass:

    - Firstly you will want to get some deep frames. I used shadow box frames 10x10cm - you can get them in white, grey or black colours.

    - You’ll need some structural core that size for each cat from The Makerss too. It's a great base to make cat portraits on, I also use it for my 2D or semi 3D pictures. For whiskers I used Turkey feathers, cleaned them from fluff, but real cat whiskers are the best, or horsehair can do well too.

    - Felting needles, well use your favourite's and what feels right.

    - Of course you will need some core wool too, my favourite is lanolin rich, but use your personal favourite. You’ll need a pair of 12mm or 15mm size half dome clear glass cabochons for the eyes and black nail varnish for pupils (I use UV one and harden it with UV lamp, but you can use self drying one).

For the merino wool for the top coat (furring) technique use:

    White Extra Fine Merino Tops

    Jet Black Tops

    Flesh Pink Batts (for nose)

    Pale Brown Tops

    Beige Tops

    Medium Brown Tops

(please note your cat may require different coloured wool that those listed above)

You don’t need a huge quantity of wool, 20g of each top coat wool will be plenty for quite a few projects. I’d suggest using hand carders for smooth blending. In places where there are black stripes you’ll use black tops, but in between there’s a mix of beige, medium brown or/and pale brown with some black. Make different blends and use small amounts of black in the mix so it's not too dark.
