Meet Miss Moo, the Highland Coo! 🐮🧡
Another member of the Growl Family, joining Hetty the Herdwick and Mr Growl the Bear, we’re delighted to introduce Miss Moo the Highland Coo!
This adorable ginger Highland Cow is sure to capture your woolly heart. She has wool-wrapped wire horns, big domed black eyes, a curly fringe, and a shaggy, textured coat in warm orange and rust tones. A red tartan ribbon or neckerchief completes her look and celebrates her Scottish heritage. ❤️
This is a full-day Zoom workshop, scheduled for January — something lovely to look forward to once Christmas is over and the Winter blues kick in!
During the workshop, you’ll learn how to:
✨ Needle-felt firm basic shapes using our favourite lanolin-rich core wool, including a new technique for adding the Growl Tilt Box early in the process.
✨ Create her horns using wire and wool, with the optional addition of a little eyeshadow from your make-up stash to add colour variation.
✨ Build her shaggy coat by mixing different wools and textures, then create her curly fringe and tail.
✨ Enjoy a relaxed day of crafting together in good online company.
And best of all, you can put your own spin on Miss Moo and give her plenty of personality. Every Highland Cow will be unique and utterly lovable!

No problem! The tutorial will be recorded and emailed to everyone after the workshop, so you can revisit every step and complete your Miss Moo in your own time.
