When I first saw this design, it really stood out to me! I have made a few fairies using batts for the head/arms and legs etc. as I am much more used to batts but using tops was a different technique (especially for the head) so I found it a bit more challenging in terms of keeping a smooth surface but it was worth it for sure! I'm really happy with how it turned out - the YouTube tutorials were really helpful too in conjunction with the instructions. I think embroidering facial details (if you choose to do so) can take some practice... but, it looks great without too! It is my first time creating a fairy without facial features :)
Bought this as my first fairy kit and it is so beautiful. Think id have found it a little hard if I hadn’t watched the YouTube video first but generally pretty good instructions.
