Longevity Meets Creativity: Our 100th Makerss Box ✨
This month marks a very special milestone — 100 Makerss Boxes sent out over 100 months of woolly creativity! To celebrate, we’ve chosen the Aldabra Tortoise as our September project.
These gentle giants are among the longest-living animals on earth, with lifespans of more than 150 years. Just like the tortoise, our Makerss Box journey has been one of endurance, creativity, and onsistency — slow and steady really does win the race!
Join us in crafting this magnificent symbol of longevity and strength, and be part of this once-in-a-hundred project.
At 12 inches (30cm) long, our Aldabra Tortoise is one of the largest Makerss Box projects we’ve ever created – the perfect way to celebrate 100 months of Makerss Boxes! 🥳
What’s inside:
These special boxes are positively bursting with wool, plus you’ll discover our trusty structural core that works beautifully to shape the tortoise’s impressive shell. There is a secret surprise material to help make the body and shell (you will never guess!). You’ll also find glue-in eyes and a little wire to help support those strong front legs. You will need a brown and black felt tip pen (Sharpie or similar).
This project is a true woolly masterpiece in the making – slow, steady, and full of creative joy, just like the gentle Aldabra tortoise itself. 🐢💚

FAQs
Which project will I receive?
You will receive the theme of the month in which the payment is made, and for every month following (unless you skip a payment - see below) until your subscription ends or is cancelled.
How does the subscription work?
Once payment is received, the system generates an order for your subscription to our online shop, at this point you will receive an email notification, and also when the order is fulfilled (sent to you). Your first payment is on the day you create your subscription and will receive your box a few days after. The next month and from then on you will always be charged on same day each month and will receive your box a few days after (unless you change your payment date in your account). You can cancel your subscription anytime.
What will I receive?
You will always receive a variety of fibres, materials, accessories etc to create the themes project(s). You will receive printed instructions, and in your first box you will receive 6x felting needles and a foam mat. Projects are based around needle felting but could also include other crafts.
Who is it suitable for?
Suitable for beginners and upwards, and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children age 7+). The box can be delivered to any address and so is suitable for a gift.
When will I receive my box?
You will receive your first box after our normal order processing time 1-2 working days plus 2 days for delivery, so it should be 3-4 days after payment. After that your payment will come out the same date next month (unless you change your payment date) and your box will arrive a few days afterwards.

Ive been using blue upholstery foam for years
It has gone up so much in price, And
Ends up in landfill. Aso little blue bits start to come of the mat over time
So ive given it ago and Im very happy
It can be cleaned so easy before I was using cellotape to clean my mat now I use the rubber brush I bought along time ago. brilliant saves on the cost of cellotape too.
So if your like me stuck in your old ways go on give the Earth mat ago
