This Month’s Box: Meet the Capybara!
This month, we're celebrating one of the most beloved (and largest!) rodents in the world — the Capybara. Closely related to the guinea pig but much bigger (about the size of a medium dog!), this gentle giant is sure to steal your heart.
In your box, you’ll find everything you need to make a smaller version, standing approximately 14-15 cm tall. This project is perfect for practicing basic wool sculpting using your favourite Lanolin Rich Core Wool. You'll also explore mixing fibres, strengthening shapes with wire (note: not a full wire armature), and wire wrapping with wool. Plus, we’re introducing a couple of brand-new techniques for creating realistic eyes and those amazing webbed feet Capybaras are known for!

FAQs
Which project will I receive?
You will receive the theme of the month in which the payment is made, and for every month following (unless you skip a payment - see below) until your subscription ends or is cancelled.
How does the subscription work?
Once payment is received, the system generates an order for your subscription to our online shop, at this point you will receive an email notification, and also when the order is fulfilled (sent to you). Your first payment is on the day you create your subscription and will receive your box a few days after. The next month and from then on you will always be charged on same day each month and will receive your box a few days after (unless you change your payment date in your account). You can cancel your subscription anytime.
What will I receive?
You will always receive a variety of fibres, materials, accessories etc to create the themes project(s). You will receive printed instructions, and in your first box you will receive 6x felting needles and a foam mat. Projects are based around needle felting but could also include other crafts.
Who is it suitable for?
Suitable for beginners and upwards, and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children age 7+). The box can be delivered to any address and so is suitable for a gift.
When will I receive my box?
You will receive your first box after our normal order processing time 1-2 working days plus 2 days for delivery, so it should be 3-4 days after payment. After that your payment will come out the same date next month (unless you change your payment date) and your box will arrive a few days afterwards.

The kit contains all you need to make the Bunny, paint brush and palette.(You just need to supply a little glue and the colouring pens). The kit instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

Excellent value for money
I am very pleased with the quality and strength of these pipe cleaners and I use them regularly to make armatures for small animals.
This was such a rewarding experience! I made this as a gift but I felt like I was being rewarded too by having the experience of making it. I have always been quite daunted by silk clay as it is very new for me but, before trying this kit, I completed the 'Robin Robin' kit so I had a little bit more familiarity with silk clay. It is well worth the challenge (tip: water can definitely be your friend with silk clay) - I was really hoping I could get it to look as much like 'Shaun the Sheep' as possible since my family & I are big Aardman fans... so happy with the result! Would definitely recommend giving this kit a go :)
P.S. One of the most challenging parts for me was making the blue felt bag from scratch. That said, it felt really cool to get it cut into templates then sewn up as it felt like I had accomplished something new!
