We are delighted to welcome local and award winning Agnese Davies to our workshop in Nailsworth to teach you the art of needle felting.

Time & Date: Wednesday 1st May 2024 (9.30-3.30)

Location: The Makerss, Unit 17a, Nailsworth, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL5 0BS

In this workshop you will be needle felting a lovely local landmark – May Hill – in a landscape of beautiful morning sky, hills and misty valleys and even flocks of sheep in the background. You will learn how to blend and use different colours of wool and create a unique and special wool-painting in A4 format size.

About Agnese

Agnese, who won the 2023 1st prize 'Made in Ross', received the award 'recommended' at The Secret Gallery in Newent, as well as being a finalist at 'Broadway', is well known for her gentle teaching style and individual approach. She prefers to work with small groups (max 8 participants) as she likes to spend time one to one as well as explaining and demonstrating to all participants. Her attention to detail is exquisite and marks her work as so special.

Agnese is passionate about the natural world and the preservation of animals and birds.
She discovered needle felt art several years ago, regularly visiting our shop. Her pictures and sculptures are delicate and hand made with care and great attention to detail and ‘personality’.
