We are extremely proud to announce our collaboration with the RSPB. Introducing the Robin Needle Felt Picture Kit. Look forward to making this delightful 2d needle felt bird picture using only the best materials!

We worked closely with the RSPB to ensure only the top quality materials are used that are kind to nature and the planet. From a FSC wood embroidery hoop to organic cotton canvas fabric and organic wool either natural or dyed with non-toxic dyes, high quality needles and The Makerss exclusive all wool felting mat (recycled and compostable too).

This beautiful depiction of the bird will bring you hours of needle felting fun especially if you love the detail on birds. The needle felted bird portrait has been designed by award winning Needle Felting Artist Agnese Davies who has an exquisite attention to detail and loves to create realistic copies of birds.

The instructions are written by Steffi Stern, as all of our instructions are and contain the usual high quality images with written words. The step by step depiction of the progress is so easy to follow and a little like 'colouring in by numbers' that you will be amazed how easy it is to complete this project. 

Make sure to keep up with the whole collection of the bird portraits as new ones will be released every 3 months. 

Suitable for beginners and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).

Simple but stunning

If you are starting on your 2D needle felting journey, this would be the place to start. The project is not too difficult, the subject is delightful and the end result is absolutely stunning. It will certainly fill you with confidence and encouragement.
