Peacock Butterfly Small Needle Felt Kit is a fun, easy beginner project that makes one colourful butterfly. You can even watch Steffi Stern create the peacock butterfly in the video below!
Suitable for beginners+ and children over 10 (or supervised crafty children 7+).
Skill level: Beginner
Size: approx. 15cm wide
Techniques used: 2D (flat) felting, surface decoration, using water soluble paper.
This kit contains:
- Full colour, step-by-step instructions.
- 8 different types of wool.
- Water Soluble Paper
- 1x brown antennae
- Felting needles (#36 coarse, #38 medium)
- Eco Wool Felting Mat (made from recycled wool and 100% compostable)
You will also need: Pen or pencil, sharp scissors, bowl of water (for dissolving the paper), towel.
Optional extras available at our website: Brush Mat, 7-Needle Multi Tool or Clover 5-needle tool.
Designed and packaged in the UK using ethically sourced and eco-friendly materials. Please reuse, recycle, and/or compost packaging & tools.

I will enjoy making the felted donkey, the wool arrived very quickly and the instructions simple to download . Now for the difficult part,but the instructions look very ckear.
You just have to love these mice. They can become addictive!

I purchased this box as a one off as I watched Steffi on a Facebook live unboxing event and fell in love with Donkey and just had to buy him. The items in the box included felting mat, tools and lots of exciting colours of wool, I think it's fantastic, I just can't wait to start making him
This kit will be wonderful to create with all of the bright colors and no fixed pattern. Because I bought 2 of them I will be doing a "stabbing" party with a friend as we make them together.
Haven't used it yet, but it feels soft, and I like how it's biodegradable as well. Can't wait to try it.
